Art Therapy & Individual Counseling
Therapy is not about fixing what is broken — it is about making room for what has been waiting to be heard.
My Approach
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Board-Certified Art Therapist. My practice is grounded in the belief that healing does not always require words — sometimes the mind needs color, texture, and form to express what language cannot hold.
Whether we work through talk therapy, art-making, or both, the pace is yours. Some sessions begin with a single thought. Others unfold through the quiet act of creating something tangible from something felt.
I draw from evidence-based approaches — including psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, and trauma-informed frameworks — always tailored to who is sitting across from me.
Services
One-on-one sessions in a confidential, unhurried setting. We meet where you are — whether you are navigating anxiety, depression, grief, or a significant life transition.
Guided creative exploration using drawing, painting, and mixed media. Art therapy offers a nonverbal pathway to process emotions, build self-awareness, and access insights that words alone may not reach.
Persistent worry, racing thoughts, or a sense of being overwhelmed — these are signals, not failures. Together we explore the roots of anxiety and develop grounded strategies for relief.
Depression can feel like isolation even when you are surrounded by people. Therapy provides a consistent, compassionate space to understand what is beneath the weight and begin moving forward.
Trauma lives in the body as much as in the mind. I offer a trauma-informed approach that prioritizes safety and pacing, helping you rebuild a sense of grounding and control at your own pace.
Grief has no timeline and no right way to move through it. In a supportive therapeutic relationship, you can honor what you have lost while finding a way to carry it forward.
About
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Board-Certified Art Therapist practicing in Honesdale, Pennsylvania. My training spans both talk therapy and the creative arts, and I bring both into every session.
I believe that the therapeutic relationship itself is healing. That means showing up with presence, without judgment, and meeting you exactly where you are — not where I think you should be.
My work is informed by psychodynamic theory, trauma-informed care, and an appreciation for the symbolic language of art. Whether you are drawn to traditional talk therapy, art-making, or a combination, the goal is the same: to help you live with more clarity, compassion, and ease.
